Antica Pieve B&B
The Antica Pieve Bed and Breakfast is a typical Tuscan farmhouse situated half way between Florence and Siena on the famous Cassia road, an ancient road connecting Florence to Rome, in the town of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. Its position in the heart of the Chianti area makes an excellent starting point for visiting the very beautiful Tuscan region. You shall discover Florence, Siena, Certaldo, Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, San Gimignano, Volterra, Greve in Chianti, Barberino Val d'Elsa and the whole of Tuscany without the prices of the hotels in Florence, in the summer evenings you can rest and sip a cool drink in our large garden by the swimming pool.
Our farmhouse is a family run business, you shall be welcomed warmly and cordially. It offers six rooms which all have a private bathroom with shower, hair dryer, air conditioning, safe, telephone, access to internet, satellite TV, all furnished down to the finest detail.

Florence is 25 Km away, Siena 35 Km away and both can be reached by car on the Highway in 25- 30 minutes or in 45 minutes by bus (stop in front of the entrance). San Gimignano and Certaldo are about 30-35 Km away.
Car
From motorway A1, come out in Florence Certosa, take the Florence-Siena Highway and come out at Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. Before getting to town, you shall find a roundabout in which there is an indication for Tavarnelle on the right. Go straight following the indications to Castellina in Chianti. Our house is 500 metres after the roundabout on the left.
Train
Once you get to Florence S.M.N. station, come out from its right side. Go to the Sita bus station situated 80 metres straight on the left). There are several runs to Siena throughout the day, which stop right in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa opposite our entrance.
Airplane
From the airport of Florence or Pisa, go to Florence S.M.N. railway station and proceed as described above.
