"Villa Poggio di Gaville" is situated nearby Chianti hills, tucked away in the green of woods, grazing areas, vineyards and olive groves. It is a splendid 19th century residence, completely renovated according to its original style. A reading room embellished with a large original fireplace made of grey sandstone (‘pietra serena’) and the tiger wood ceiling create the typical atmosphere of olden days homes.

The cuisine, taken care of down to the smallest detail and complying with the Tuscan tradition, is served in the cosy dining room with large arch-like windows with a wonderful view over the surrounding green. Naturally, meals will always be served with an excellent local wine.

"Villa Poggio di Gaville" doesn’t only offer relaxation and refreshments, but a large variety of recreational activities too, such as an inviting swimming pool (170 sq m!) and a small natural lake, where you can admire a truly unique landscape. The green of its large estate invites you to beautiful walks which take you to the nearby lake of Santa Barbara, where you can go fishing, and in summer you can even learn to sail boats at the lake sailing school. We also hire mountain bikes, not very far away there is a manège, you can play Tennis in Figline Valdarno and Golf at the Ugolino Golf Club. Thanks to some Outlets in the area, shopping lovers will be able to renew their wardrobe.

We organize guided excursions by minibus and guide to Chianti, Florence, Arezzo, Siena and the most typical Tuscany, as well as the Tuscan farms for the tasting of wine, oil, cold meats and cheeses.

The estate is situated in a strategic position in Tuscany, from here you can visit Florence, Arezzo and Siena, as well as Greve in Chianti, Cavriglia Park, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and Volterra.

"Villa Poggio di Gaville" country house consists of 12 double bedrooms which spread over two floors, all with a private bathroom, colour TV and independent heating.

Rooms

Rooms are accurately furnished with style furniture and beds made with wrought iron, partly original floors done in terracotta tiles and visible beams (on the upper floor).

The two Double Superior rooms have a poster bed made with wrought iron and a panoramic terrace, each measuring 25 sq m.
