In the surroundings
4 Kms far from the farm there is Montemerano, famous for its well preserved medieval historical centre. Down south just 2 Kms far there is Manciano, a typical little village of the rural Tuscan, equipped with all the services and with a beautiful fifteenth-century fortress. In twenty minutes of car you can reach the Etruscan archaeological sites of Sovana, Sorano and Pitigliano. You need just some more minutes in order to reach the beaches of the Argentario or the Lake of Bolsena.
But if you come to visit us you cannot lose the near (7Kms) Thermal baths of Saturnia where Cicero went and you know how much the Romans loved the beauties of life. The place has been magnificently preserved and to take a bath in the warm waters (37° C), in any season, is surely a pleasure that at least once everybody must try. (You can in fact take advantage of the convention that we have with the SPA that allows us to directly sell the different types of ticket with a discount. Our products
To live well we need to be in a beautiful place and to eat good and healthy foods. Here cows of the Maremma, Cinta senese pigs, game and poultry live very well. AIAB (Italian Association for the Biological agriculture) guarantees it and in 1997 it also certified the whole biological farm and its products. Extra virgin olive oil, honey made with flowers of the wood, veal of Maremma and Cinta Senese pigs, sauces, creams for croutons and home made jams… take advantage of it!
