Il Tombolo***Residence
Il Tombolo *** was built in 2007 at the crossroad for Principina a Mare (Grosseto). It is a five-minute walk from the long beaches and from the town, and only three kilometres from Marina di Grosseto, 12 km from Castiglione della Pescaia and 10 km from Grosseto. It is at surrounded by the splendid countryside of the Maremma Toscana, with vast expanses and slow, relaxed rhythms. The residence itself is made of flats (studio flats and two-room flats) with all the modern comforts (TV set, telephone, hair dryer, balcony or veranda with chairs and table, air-conditioning or heating). The relaxing atmosphere, smiling staff and low prices will make this an unforgettable experience. Groups are welcome!
Services
There are many common facilities/services: a large parking lot suitable for buses and cars, two outdoor swimming pools (one with different depths) with deck chairs and umbrellas, outdoor games for children, TV room/reading room/hobby room, a large meeting hall (100 seats) with the appropriate equipment, gardens, cleaning and ironing facilities.
The price includes: bed linen and towels, cleaning, water and electricity.
Animals are admitted on request at the time of booking.

By car: exit at Grosseto sud and follow the signs to the sea or to Principina a Mare on the provincial road SP n°40 della Trappola (of the Trap) for about 9 Km. We are on the right, approximately 100 metres before entering Principina a Mare (look for the large orange brick building with a big sign on the roof); By train: catch a direct train to Grosseto; once there take a taxi along the provincial road SP n°40 della Trappola heading for Principina a Mare. By air: Rome Airport (Leonardo da Vinci) is at 180 km, Pisa (Galileo Galilei) at 140 km, Florence (Peretola) at 150 km.

Tariffs do not include:
cooking unit if not left clean and tidy: 70.00 upon departure
two-room flat with a garden, to be paid for upon arrival: 50.00 per week in periods C-D-E; the garden is free in periods A and B
a deposit is compulsory upon arrival: 150.00, in cash
extra clean towels on request: 5.00 per person
extra clean sheets on request: 5.00 per person
a limited number of animals is allowed, only on request and if small: 35.00 per week
washing machine and tumble dryer (with tokens)
upon request: telephone with connection to an external line is available, to be paid for separately
baby crib (only for babies under 12 months and only in the two-room flats) 30.00 per week but never exceeding the number of total beds per flat.
Tariffs include:
