“Sea and charm staying at the Farm”.
“Poggialberi”, a typical farm of the Tuscan Maremma, is situated on a hillock (“poggio”) and it is surrounded by olive trees, cypresses and age-old oaks (“alberi”) (from which the name ”Poggialberi” comes from).
We offer hospitality in 3 comfortable apartments, which were recently renovated. Thanks to its slightly elevated position, the climate in Poggialberi is always milder compared to the plain below.
Being a farm (about 6 hectares), it provides its guests with ample spaces for walks.
We are in the province of Grosseto, about 14 Km from Castiglione della Pescaia, once a fishing village, today one of the most famous sea resorts of the Tyrrhenian coast.
There are beautiful beaches in Castiglione which, thanks to the mild climate, can be enjoyed from April to October.
Services
Poggialberi offers three different types of accommodation in the following apartments:
“Il Nido”: (about 40 sq m) 1 double bedroom, bathroom with shower, living room with kitchenette, private garden with barbecue, parking.
”Le Querce”: (about 55sq m) 1 double bedroom, bathroom with shower, room with two beds, living room with kitchenette. Private porch and garden with barbecue. Parking.
”Al Poggio”: (about 50 sq m) 1 double bedroom, 1 single room, bathroom with shower, living room with kitchenette, private porch and garden with barbecue. Parking.
It is possible to add, in all apartments, beds for children who are below 12 (small beds are not available).
They are fitted with: Washing machine. Dishwasher, TV and Satellite TV, Hairdryer, iron, Air conditioning (Al Poggio and Le Querce), safe, fridge with freezer, microwave oven. In the garden: barbecue, deck chairs, dining table. We do not provide for restoration, but our kitchens are well equipped...
