Il Pelago
The Holiday Farm “Il Pelago” is situated in the vicinity of the exit of the Main Road SS1 and is surrounded by the countryside of Castagneto Carducci, close to the century-old pinewood and just 2 km far from the sandy beach of Marina di Castagneto. You will find a marvellous swimming-pool with jacuzzi and lot of place to relax.
It is made up of a manor and of a completely restored farmhouse divided into 8 brand new 2-room flats furnished in different styles, ranging from country to modern, from rural to classic. They are all provided with a completely equipped kitchen, microwave oven, dishwashing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, air-conditioning, satellite TV with plasma display screen and safe and can accommodate up to 4 persons.

Enjoy ...excellent grilled meat, or tasting fresh fish, prepared on the big barbecue at disposal of our guests.
And once a week, on the warm summer-evenings of July and August everybody is invited for a magnificent barbecuenight under the starry Tuscan sky.
Experience the countryside ...we will accompany you to their orchard and their kitchen-garden to pick the season’s vegetables and fruits .
Experience the sea…trying a different beach every day, from Marina di Castagneto to the rough beaches of the Rimigliano-Park, of the sandy bay of the incredible Gulf of Baratti to the rocks of the famous Castiglioncello.
Sport:Mountain-bikes are at disposal for free, with which you can reach the nearby cycle-path (just 500mt. of the holiday farm) which leads to the secular pinewood of Marina until the sea or you can take the main street to get to La Via Bolgherese and discover its famous olive groves and vineyards (the wineries of the Sassicaia and the Ornellaia can be found just here), to arrive at the majestic Viale di Bolgheri with its cypresses dearly loved by the poet Carducci.
Furthermore, there are possibilities for excursions by horse in the wonderful pinewood or for motor-cross in the hinterland.
