Our agricultural estate’s house is a restored farmhouse of 1880 belonging to the Conti Della Gherardesca, who ruled in this area till the end of the métayer system. It is only five minutes from the sea and has 3 two-roomed flats and 3 one-roomed flats. Each flat is named after an important historical or mythological horse. The furniture of the flats on the first floor is in ‘country’ style whereas that of the ground floor flats is modern. Every flat has its own barbecue and table in the garden that surrounds the house.

The estate is 1 hour from the Airport of Florence Amerigo Vespucci.
Take the A11 Motorway Firenze-Pisa-Livorno heading for Pisa. At Pisa Nord take the A12 Genova-Rosignano-Roma heading for Rome (Roma) and exit at Rosignano. From Rosignano continue on the Superstrada Variante Aurelia SS1 heading for Rome. Exit at Donoratico. At the roundabout go left heading for Marina di Castagneto Carducci, along a tree-flanked road. Turn left at the first traffic island onto a dirt road and continue straight on following the signs for the estate.
5 Minutes from the Train Station of Castagneto Carducci-Donoratico. Taxis are available from the Station square.
