Agrilago - Agricultural Holding – Organic Agricultural Tourist resort “Il Lago”. this 12-hectar holding is in Val di Lima, in the region of Casoli (a medieval mountain village in the municipality of Bagni di Lucca, in the province of Lucca, north-western Tuscany).

Surrounded by very old, green chestnut woods, mountains and steep slopes with fast flowing-streams, the holding is 10 km from the Bagni di Lucca Thermal Baths and 25 km from the Abetone and Doganaccia ski runs. It is near the protected area of Orrido di Botri [gorge of Botri], Grotte del Vento [caves of the wind], Antro del Corchia [cavern of Corchia], the Apuane Alps Natural Park and Tuscany’s cities of art (Lucca, Florence, Pisa, Pistoia, Siena, just 60 km away).

Old farm buildings, which have been completely renovated preserving the original architectural style, now have flats and rooms for rent, with beds for up to 15 people. As the holding is in the higher part of the town, there is a lovely view of the swimming pool, some villages in Val di Lima and the Lima stream.

Casoli is a mountain town built in the Middle Ages and it can only be reached on foot, using the original road that leads from the lower part of the town to the ruins of the old castle.

The car park is 100 metres from the rooms. There is a private car park at the bottom of the town. An electric car from the holding will be used for transporting luggage.
