Situated in Lunigiana, in the heart of the medieval village of Tavernelle, Palazzo del Duca is a historical palace dating back to the 17th century, and it used to be a former summer residence of the Este family. During renovations (the last dated back to 2008) all the important characteristics of the palace were preserved, like the terracotta tiles floors, portals made with local sandstone, cross vault ceilings, a very beautiful staircase made with sandstone; you can even find a fireplace in the room and an ancient toilet etc.
The palace is subdivided into 5 apartments, finely furnished and detached. The versatility of the palace allows to rent not only to singles or couples, but also and especially to groups of 8, 12, 18. Palazzo del Duca, is also ideal for weddings, family reunions and more, and can host up to a maximum of 26 people.
