Agriturismo Due Ponti
The farm holiday centre "Due Ponti" is glad to welcome you to the wonderful Tuscan country stretched along the torrent Sterza where you will be able to relax and enjoy the uncontaminated nature and fantastic views. The building, where the farm holiday centre stands, is situated in the middle of a 200 hectares farm, amongst cornfields, sunflowers, forest trees and the maquis. The structure is old and renovated according to the most classic Tuscan characteristics, with facades entirely made of stone and rustic furnishing. The four apartments (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) all have their independent entrance, 4 or 6 beds, a living room and a dinette kitchen, a spacious bathroom with shower, two double rooms, provided with every comfort, such as a fridge with freezer, oven, heating and tv.
Services
During your stay you will be able to walk along paths plunged into the green, by foot or mountain-bike and admire the water always running and crystalline of our lovely tarn, where it is possible to fish. You will admire the evocative ruins of the medieval Rocca di Pietracassia (an old castle which dominates over the entire valley) and get acquainted with all the animals which collaborate to our farm’s activities, cats, pigs, geese and chickens, and the nice dogs Pasquale, Zara and Briciola.
Nearby our farm holiday centre there is also a small and pretty little Church owned by the farm, where, from time to time, it is possible to assist to ceremonies, anyway it is always open for those who wish to pray, which doesn’t hurt!!!!!
Domestic animals are allowed.
The linen is supplied and included in the price (towels and bed sheets changed every week)

The Holiday Farm Centre Due Ponti is easy to reach:
- from Pisa and Livorno, take the highway FI-PI-LI towards Florence, come out in Pontedera, head towards Volterra, once you get to La Sterza (Andrea Bocelli’s native town) turn towards Miemo, you will find us after 7 Km

We are well connected to the main cities of art in Tuscany, 20 minutes away from Volterra, 30 minutes from Siena and San Gimignano, 40 minutes from Florence, Livorno, Pisa and 30 minutes from the sea (Cecina, Castiglioncello). Close by there is the thermal city of Casciana Terme
