La Pergola
La Pergola is situated in the open country, surrounded by woods, in a very quiet area, easy to get to, 3 km away from Casole d’Elsa, in the heart of Tuscany. The Commune of Casole was awarded with the Orange Flag (Bandiera Arancione), an Italian Touring Club tourist-environmental quality mark. All centres of greater tourist importance can be easily reached: San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Chianti hills, Florence, Pisa, etc. Therefore, it is possible to spend a fully relaxing holiday, but also with a great cultural interest.
La Pergola has 21 apartments, divided into various buildings, which can accommodate from 2 to 6/7 people.
Type A apartments: for a minimum of 2 guests, consisting of a living room with kitchenette, double bedroom, bathroom or shower.
Type B apartments: for a minimum of 4 guests, consisting of a living room with kitchenette or separate kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, bathroom or shower.
Type C apartments: for a minimum of 6/7 guests, consisting of a living room with kitchenette or separate kitchen, 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with a tub, one with a shower).
Type D apartments: like Type C, they also have a private swimming pool (10 x 5 m) and parking space, shared only by two apartments.
The apartments were all part of old farmhouses, completely renovated and furnished in a simple but comfortable way. They were all completely fitted with a gas cooker, crockery, cutlery, set of saucepans, as well as bed, bathroom and kitchen linen (with a weekly change), satellite TV also showing French, German, English, Dutch and Spanish programmes. Types C and D are fitted with a washing machine, included in the price, within the apartments. Types A and B, instead, have a common washing machine, with a charge.
Services
All apartments have their own garden, with a paved farmyard, or an ample terrace, both covered with small pergolas. The complex covers 9 hectares, tucked away in the green of the Tuscan country, among olive trees. Ample free and personalized parking areas are guaranteed for each apartment.
La Pergola provides its guests with two outdoor swimming pools: one for adults (12 x 6 m) and one for children (4 x 3 m), with a shaded solarium.
Furthermore, Aquaviva hotel (same management), situated only 300 m away from the apartments, offers the following free services :
a covered and heated swimming pool (13 x 10 m), an outdoor swimming pool for adults (12 x 7 m), a tub for small children, water Falls,fully fitted fitness room.

ITINERARY FOR LA PERGOLA
From the North
Exit the Autostrada del Sole (A1) at FIRENZE IMPRUNETA, take the dual-carriage way (Superstrada) towards SIENA;
Exit the Superstrada at COLLE DI VAL D'ELSA NORD, and turn left towards VOLTERRA/COLLE VAL D’ELSA.
Follow this main road to the town of Colle val d’Elsa and at 2.5 km from the exit of the Superstrada turn right towards VOLTERRA/CASOLE D’ELSA on the road SS 68.
After another 3 km (5.5 km from the exit of the Superstrada) at LE GRAZIE, turn left towards CASOLE D’ELSA.
From the South
Exit the Autostrada del Sole (A1) at VAL DI CHIANA, and head towards SIENA;
Follow this road to Siena, and take to ring road towards FIRENZE on to the Superstrada and exit at COLLE DI VAL D'ELSA SUD.
Take the main road through Colle Val d’Elsa following the signs for VOLTERRA / CASOLE D’ELSA.
At LE GRAZIE, turn left towards CASOLE D’ELSA.
Then
Travelled along this main road for 7 km, turn right at the first roundabout (there is a white sign post indicating “La Pergola”)
Drive straight for 3.7 km; through the second roundabout, following the signs VOLTERRA. You will find the reception of La Pergola. at hotel AQUAVIVA, on your right, on the hill.

Prices quoted include: apartment rental; water, electricity and gas consumption; bedroom and kitchen linen and bath towels (with weekly change); satellite TV (English, German, French, Dutch and Spanish channels); cooking utensils, use of parking (guaranteed for each apartment); final cleaning.

Free services: one covered and heated swimming pool (13 x 10 metres); two outdoor pools for adults (12 x 6 metres each); one outdoor swimming pool for children (4 x 3 metres); one baby splash pool; waterfalls; heated indoor whirlpool; fully equipped fitness room; table tennis; children playground.
Additional charge: wellness centre, reserved for hotel guests, including: Finnish sauna: 10 Euros per person per session (max one hour); Turkish steam bath, hot & cold shower, 8 Euros per person per session (20 minutes; UV solar shower: 10 Euros per person per session (10 minutes); ); Kneipp parcours, on demand; massages : 50 to 70 Euros per session (according to type and length of massage); mountain bike rental: 10 Euros per day; babysitter for children on request, 25 Euros per hour; restaurant and pizzeria.
Washing machines: apartments type C& D are equipped with a washing machine, free: Types A & B use a shared machine, at an additional charge.
