Taverna di Bibbiano is an enchanting farm holiday centre plunged into the heart of Tuscany, between Siena and Florence, opposite San Gimignano. Rose-gardens, lavender bushes, rosemary shrubs and other aromatic plants act as a frame to the splendid buildings made in stone.
Arriving at the Taverna, you will see vineyards, olive trees, cornfields and sunflowers; colours and perfumes blend giving to the surrounding landscape a timeless beauty ... and then, on a hill, in a surreal atmosphere, rise the towers of San Gimignano. At night, when the lights are on and San Gimignano lightens, a fascinating scenery appears to the visitor, offering unique emotions.
The three double bedrooms are inspired by flowers: “Il Glicine” (Wistaria), “I Gigli” (Lilies), “Le Ginestre” (Genistas) and the three suites: “I Fiordalisi” (Bluebottles), “Le Rose” (Roses), “I Girasoli” (Sunflowers).

The original trompe l’oeil with a floral theme which decorates the walls, the floors done in terracotta tiles and the visible wooden beams, enrich the atmosphere with a fascinating charm of other times, the typical Tuscan beautiful wooden furniture, the wrought iron beds and poster beds, the elegant fabrics enrich your stay at the “Taverna” with refinement and charm.

Each room enjoys an extraordinary view over San Gimignano or the valley with woods and vines. Every window of the farm holiday centre looks like a charming natural painting in which one can observe the Tuscan countryside.

The Taverna di Bibbiano’s rooms, beds, furniture.. and more: the corridors, stairs and halls are all decorated with original trompe l’oeil inspired by flowers and painted by hand.
