Province of Prato
Prato is the most recent of the Tuscan provinces, being constituted in 1992 separating itself from the province of Florence. Besides the chief town, are also included the communes of Cantagallo, Carmignano, Poggio a Caiano, Montemurlo, Vaiano e Vernio. The characteristics of this province are the industrial vocation for textiles and the conspicuous Chinese minority.
