Welcome to Anghiari! It was our intention to create a people-friendly Farm Holiday Centre, where the owners are always present, and where the proximity to one of the most beautiful villages in Italy is combined with the opportunity of breathing and living in the middle of nature. The farm spreads over 25 hectares of the Tuscan country, amongst maize, wheat and sunflower crops and has a wonderful olive grove which surrounds the residence and the swimming pool. A few steps away from the cottage, we shall come across a small grove which, still today, it ensures a natural refuge for wild boars, hares, squirrels, pheasants, hawks and buzzards.
The country experience, handed on from generation to generation, has allowed us to create a self-sufficient place, both for the production of fruits and vegetables (thanks to the presence of the orchard and the vegetable garden, and for courtyard animals (chickens, geese and ducks), kept free in the small lake of the farm. As for the energy aspect, our philosophy is to respect the environment. The heating is centralized and supplied by a wood burning boiler (the wood is cut annually in our woods).
The few beds available (a maximum of 10 beds) allow a better care of our guests, who will be able to relax and fish in the small lake or dive into the large swimming pool with hydromassage.
Without forgetting the spirit which connects us to our traditions, in fact you will be able to see closely all the country working stages, like the olives harvesting and pressing, carried out with the classical methods in the old millstone of the oil mill.

Val della Pieve, called this way because of its proximity to an ancient Romanesque Parish, is situated just outside the small village of Anghiari, known for the famous Battle painted by Leonardo Da Vinci and commemorated every year on the 29th June during the famous “Palio della Vittoria”.

Its strategic position allows an easy access to public transport and to visit the most beautiful treasures enclosed in this valleys, from “La Madonna del Parto”by Piero della Francesca displayed in Monterchi at the Picture-gallery of Sansepolcro, where other famous works by the famous Tuscan painter are displayed, until the birthplace of Michelangelo in Caprese.

The most beautiful Tuscan, Umbrian and Emilian cities can be reached by car, the journey would take about 1 hour, FLORENCE, AREZZO, SIENA, PIENZA, MONTEPULCIANO, MONTALCINO, SAN GIMIGNANO, PERUGIA, URBINO, GUBBIO, SAN MARINO; those who are interested to a more religious kind of tourism: ASSISI ,CAMALDOLI, LA VERNA.
