Relais il Fienile
The Relais Il Fienile, a charming little hotel in Tuscany, inaugurated in April 1999, is an ideal base for anyone who wants to explore the multiple riches that Casentino has to offer: a short distance from the National Park of the same name and in well-disposed position to visit Tuscany’s greater cities of art, but at the same time offering an elegantly welcoming rural residence, an ideal shelter for one who seeks quiet, taste and comfort. The building, a restructured ancient barn of 17th century, is encircled by a green, tree-lined park and above all by the splendid panorama that appears almost unexpectedly in its vastness. The inside does not have the air of a hotel, but instead of a private villa, every room has a view.
Relais Il Fienile is 5 minutes from the historical center of Bibbiena, in the most favorable position close to numerous centers of interest: Sanctuary of the Verna, Eremo di Camaldoli, Poppi castle, pieve of Romena, etc., and then, of course, there is Arezzo and Florence.
Distances: Arezzo 30 km (½ h), Florence 56 km (1 h), Siena 100 km (1½ h), Ravenna 130 km (1½ h).
We have 6 rooms, each equipped with private bathroom, shower, hair dryer, color satellite tv, and refrigerator.

Special price agreements with the Casentino Golf Club and other sports centers in the area. Information available to clients: location and timetables of publics offices (mail, telephones publics, cinema, hospital), recommendations of the best restaurants, local industries, commercial activities or crafts shops in which are worth going shopping. Likewise, at the Relais plenty of tourist documentation supplied from the promotion agencies is readily on hand.
Breakfast buffet: Fruit juices (orange and grapefruit), yogurt, various types of salamis, fresh baked cakes and croissants, Corn flakes and Muesli, bread and butter, home made jam, seasonal fresh fruit, and a choice of teas, milk, hot chocolate, and coffee. Breakfast is served either in the dining room or in the garden, according to the season and the guests’ preference.

How to reach us:
- From Bologna to take the A14 direction Rimini/Ancona. Exit to Cesena Nord. Take the E45 direction Orte/Roma exit at Bagni di Romana. Take to the SS71 that passes il Passo dei Mandrioli (a mountain road). After the pass the first town is Badia Prataglia, continue in direction Bibbiena. Once at Bibbiena take the road for Chiusi della Verna after just a bit, our signs will appear (turn left for Gressa).
- From Rome continue on the A1 for Florence and to exit at Arezzo. Follow the indications for the SS71 in direction Bibbiena. Once at Bibbiena to take the road for Chiusi della Verna. Our road signs are at the Bibbiena exit. The intersection for Gressa is at km 5,1.
