BORGOGNANO FARM HOUSE
The farm-stay Borgognano Farmhouse is located in the Tuscan Maremma, in the province of Grosseto, halfway between the mediaeval town of Massa Marittima and the splendid Gulf of Follonica, on the Wine Route that leads to Suvereto.

The proximity to the sea, just 15 km away, allows you to enjoy pleasant tourist resorts, such as the Port of Punta Ala, the park of Calaviolina, the castle of Scarlino, the beaches and pine forests of Follonica, the Gulf of Baratti with the famous archaeological sites of Populonia and the thermal spring of the Calidarium of Venturina.
The island of Elba and the Tuscan Archipelago are accessible from the nearby harbours of Castiglione della Pescaia, Puntone di Scarlino and Piombino.
In addition, due to its central location, it is also an excellent starting point to visit beautiful cities such as Volterra, Siena, Florence and Pisa, renowned for their great artistic and cultural heritage.
THE FACILITY
Borgognano Farm House is an accommodation facility designed for those who love nature which rises on a hill, surrounded by green meadows, fields and woods. Its location, breezy even in summer and away from road systems, makes it a unique and enchanting setting where you can relax in company and enjoy the uncontaminated beauty of the place.
During your stay you will have at your disposal cosy double rooms with private bathroom, equipped with all facilities, or studios or apartments, which you can choose according to your needs.
Its double rooms are very comfortable, with their classic furniture, and are equipped with private bathroom. In each room there is the possibility of adding a third bed or cot on request. Those who spend their stay in the room can take advantage of several communal areas, including a veranda equipped with deck chairs, rocking chairs tables and small armchairs, where you can relax in the shade and read, and where breakfast will be served.
The studios are located on the ground floor, and are equipped with a comfortable sofa bed for 2 people, television, bathroom, bath anteroom, kitchenette, loft area with two beds, outdoor veranda and exclusive and garden area. The kitchenettes are equipped with cooking area, sink, microwave oven and refrigerator. The studios are called “Mare” and “Maremma”, respectively. The former has a white wooden loft and is decorated in a minimal country style, while the latter has a dark wooden loft and evokes the furnishing style of Maremma.
The apartments are always located on the ground floor, and consist of a large double room, where you can add a third bed, a bright living room / kitchen with sofa bed for 2 people, television, bathroom, outdoor veranda and exclusive garden area. The kitchen is complete with stove, sink, refrigerator, oven and microwave oven. The apartments are called “Abete” and “Quadrifoglio”, and are both furnished in traditional Tuscan style. In the one called “Abete” there is also a wood-burning oven of exposed baked bricks.
During the day, the only noises you will hear ware the twittering of birds and the song of cicadas, while in the evening, in front of a good glass of wine or a barbecue, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the fantastic vault of heaven, in the sound of silence.
