The old farm of Poggio Oliveto rises immersed in the green heart of the Maremma hills.
The building, which was built in the 16th century by the Venturi family from Roccastrada, knew its moment of highest splendour around the 19th century, when the Counts della Gherardesca made it a town inhabited by many families.
Since 1982 Poggio Oliveto, with its 115 hectares of surrounding land, is owned by the Curatolo family, who has restored it to its former glory not only by restoring and making the most of its most significant structures, but also by resuming the farming activity with advanced production systems also from the ecological point of view.
Inside the village, completely renovated, there is a typical “horseshoe” farmhouse used as an accommodation facility intended for the owners and the guests of the farm, with attached oil press with millstones, still used for the production of extra virgin olive oil, a small church which has preserved its entire original slender building, and an ancient octagonal well. The farm is ideal for holidays full of genuine colours, scents and flavours in a harmonious and peaceful atmosphere.
Everything has been carefully arranged respecting the local traditions. Today the owners’ familiar hospitality, combined with plenty of comfort, make Poggio Oliveto the ideal place to spend a pleasant and relaxing holiday immersed in nature.

The apartments share the following communal areas: a living room 80 sqm wide, a swimming pool measuring 6 x 12 metres open from April to September, a free laundry room with washing machine and ironing area.

At the reception you can use the fax service. There is also an Internet Café where you can surf the Web with your notebook pc. Pets are allowed and have at their disposal 3 separate boxes.

Each apartment is equipped with: electricity, gas, heating, full kitchen set, full bed linen set, complete bathroom set (including towels, complimentary toiletries with bath foam and shampoo).
